Hello friends and family (and hopefully a few others). We decided to record a song that is near and dear to our hearts. Not to get all cheesy on you, but we've had a rough 24 hours- I chipped a tooth (and got it fixed), a huge tree fell on our fence, Chris's gig in Singapore was cancelled (and subsequently, my trip), and a window in our house started leaking. Though you may think that it is counterintuitive for us to then sing a song called "Lucky," we actually do feel that way. The things that happened were just hassles, nothing catastrophic. We hope our luck continues and if bad stuff happens, that it will happen to objects and not to our friends, family, or each other.
I would have been lounging at this pool in Singapore... 
The nasty storm two nights ago took out our tree. At least it didn't do too much damage to the fence.
The first time we sang this song it was at Joanna and Ryan's wedding up in WI. We loved it so much that we also ended up singing it at our own wedding reception in honor of Matt and Julia's 1st anniversary (which coincided with our wedding weekend). Three couples all tied to one song. Probably because it is a GREAT love song. Without further ado, here it is... "Lucky."
