Mockingbird Musicians

Early May Events

The weather has been PERFECT the past two weekends! I'm a huge advocate of a rain plan, and I hate when people let a little bad weather ruin their big day, but I have to say that it does something for my soul when the weather is immaculate at an outdoor event! First, we had a gorgeous string quartet in the garden at Riverwood Mansion playing a mix of traditional music (Ave Maria, Canon in D, Edelweiss) and an arrangement I did of the "The Cello Song" by the Piano Guys, which is based on J.S. Bach's most famous cello suite.

We also provided some piano/guitar jazz music for a cocktail hour at the War Memorial Auditorium. It's an open air courtyard, but the acoustics in that area are amazing! You also can't beat the views of the State Capitol. We're so lucky to do what we do! Congrats to the happy couples we worked with! Let us know if we can help you make your big day special.IMAG1207IMAG1205IMAG1204IMAG1203IMAG1188IMAG1187
