A few weeks ago, we did a wedding at the Cathedral of the Incarnation near Vanderbilt University that featured piano, violin, and cello. The venue was beautiful and the bride and groom, Danielle and Travis, were absolutely adorable. They had a mixture of classical music and traditional Catholic mass parts. Danielle walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary by Clarke and during the ceremony she had one of her good friends sing with piano accompaniment.
One of the services Mockingbird Musicians offers is playing with a singer or instrumentalist of your choice. Danielle's friend is a professional opera singer so it was important for her to have him sing at her wedding. We did a short rehearsal with him prior to the ceremony and then played with him on a few different songs during the ceremony. It was a lovely wedding and we were so glad to be a part of their big day. Congratulations, Danielle and Travis!
